Ice skating (with our boots)

Today we had the Strands and Tess over for a little fun on the ice. Our back yard had melted into a giant puddle, then froze. Making it a very nice ice rink! We played a type hockey which was alot of fun. No buddy got hurt which was good. A few people fell that might have sore rears in the morning(me included) lol well i need to go ice both my shins, some body kept getting the ball and my shins mixed up! lol but no harm done.

Extream water tubing!

During the summer we like to water tube behind a boat. It usually involves 3 tubes, 3 wild people having fun, and a lot of speed and water. We love to try to tip or knock each other off, playing a type of crazy bumper cars. My favorite move, is to drag my feet in a turn waiting till the other 2 tubes have made the turn. Then i lift my legs up and come ripping around like a recking ball! ka pow lol 1 or 2 more people in the water. We all have a lot of fun.

Many of us think of the the knights as being old story lore! But i say they are still right here and should be "Men" have we lost the calling of the knights? "Brothers" "son" we are still being called to be knights! What they stood for, what they fought for, died for! That should be our driving force, to Protect our Sisters, our Mothers, those who are weaker then we are. Lending a hand, being a servant, giving of our selves. Yes it is hard sometimes, the road is not always easy, but we should push on. Serving and obeying our King, living for him. We are to be the leaders, first into battle, last to leave. We dont have to go around carrying a sword( even though that be cool) but if we step back and look, we realy should not be that much different then the knights. So carry on lads, the fight is at hand, which side are you on?

Bible stories with a twist

At night I have been telling Justin Bible stories. But to make it kinda fun for him iv been using his cars to act them out! lol they are quite the hit, he keeps asking for them. Acting them out with cars does put a twist on it. We've had "David the Bug car and Goliath the monster truck" "Daniel the Viper car was thrown into the den of Nascars" but a fiery Firebird shut their engines off. Plus a couple more, but i think im going to have to be more careful telling them, causes He's started telling them now.....

For Wendys 19 birthday i took her and Tess and Joanna to the Spa! I have to say that we had blast. The girls giggled and laughed. They had thier Feet and Hands done. And NO i did not have mine done! But the ladies working there tried and tried to get me to do my hands, even trying to get me to have a massage! lol I had fun with the girls, but i doubt id ever have it done myself.
